Oh, Stephen, Oil on Canvas, 3 x 6 feet, 2013. Owned by private collector, Montreal, Quebec.
In 2013, I wanted to explore Stephen Harper as a subject again. This time I desired his portrait to disturb the viewer with less shock then the original series of six that included three nudes.
Presented in the collective exhibition "Reflections" in 2013, viewers were amused, disgusted, and left unsure whether my intentions were to portray Stephen Harper in a positive or negative way.
Commissioned. Toronto, Ontario.
Oh, Stephen #2, oil on masonite, 16 x24", 2015. Jerome Evola
